Mentor Monday: Natasha's Experience

Good morning. Whew what a day yesterday! That was a bit of a roller coaster ride as far as the order of events is concerned. Definitely a day of closing chapters, ready or not. I just wanted to send you a thank you for your thank you. I forgot that you handed me that card yesterday in the middle of the rush to get things done. Of course, when I opened my purse to find it this morning, I immediately thanked God for his timing. To say I needed those words is the understatement of the week. I am learning so much through my experience with you. Although this house was a bit of a challenge, it has really taught me so many valuable things. Tools to use with my children, appreciation for what I have, changes I can apply to myself and my relationships, and of course, patience, patience, patience! I really do love mentoring with you and I look forward to continuing this journey. I think you are an amazing role model and any group or individual is lucky to have you as a leader. Taking some time to strengthen my children and our bond is next on my list of musts. Please keep me posted about fall group as it gets closer. Also, any trainings, conferences, or opportunities... send my way. Happy summer and stay safe. I'm just so very grateful to have you, Friends for Youth, and the girls/lessons, in my life!
