The public libraries have free events all year long for all ages! Take time in June for you and your mentee to attend one of their Free Concerts on the Lawn!
The Blyden Branch Library celebrates African-American Music
Appreciation Month in June with its "Making a Joyful
Noise" concert series.
Bring the family out to the Blyden Branch every Saturday.
We’ll gather for evening music on the lawn! Experience the musical legacy
of African-Americans with performances by Chozen, Rhythmania, Osmosis Jazz Trio
and MVP.
Come Saturdays at 2 p.m. (June 7, 14, 21
& 28). Concerts are free and open to the public!
Visit Blyden’s used book sale each concert date from 10:30
a.m. to 4:30 p.m. On Saturday, June 28 only, buy two items, get one free (of
equal or lesser value)!
